HotBox.Food is a technology platform that enables users to pre-order food and beverages from third-party vendors (the “Vendors”), to be delivered to smart lockers installed at participating locations.
We do not prepare food, and we are not responsible for the quality or preparation of food or other goods offered by the Vendors.
The actual contract for the sale of food is between you and the Vendor.
To use HotBox.Food, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must supervise your use of the Platform and manage your account.
Parents or guardians may approve menus, manage purchases, and add funds to student accounts.
You must create an account to use the Platform. You must be 18 or older in order to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Parents may be required to verify identity, authorize payment methods, and set dietary or spending preferences.
All food orders are subject to acceptance by the Vendor. Prices and availability may vary. You agree to pay all charges for orders placed under your account, including applicable taxes, service fees, and delivery fees.
Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. HotBox.Food is not liable for unauthorized transactions unless caused by our gross negligence.
Food orders will be delivered to designated smart lockers. You are responsible for retrieving your food promptly using the unique access code or method provided.
HotBox.Food is not responsible for spoilage, theft, or uncollected orders.
Orders may be canceled or refunded only in accordance with Vendor policies. If you experience an issue with your order (e.g., missing item, wrong order, poor quality), you must report it through the Platform within 24 hours.
HotBox.Food may, at its sole discretion, issue credits or partial refunds.
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent activity
- Access another user’s account without permission
- Interfere with locker operation or tamper with orders not belonging to you
- Submit false claims or misuse our customer support channels
Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.
Vendors are responsible for:
- Food preparation and safety
- All required licenses, health code compliance, and packaging standards
- Timely delivery of orders to the lockers
HotBox.Food does not guarantee any specific outcome from the Vendor or the food provided.
The Platform is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about availability, security, or error-free operation. We are not responsible for delays, service outages, or issues caused by third parties, including Vendors or locker equipment providers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HotBox.Food shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to issues with food quality, locker access, or account usage.
You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, and not in court, except for claims in small claims court. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
